Bidding farewell to Rabi' al-Awwal

How do we bid farewell to Rabi' al-Awwal? - Habib Umar Bin Hafiz

Believers familiar with Allah's address to them in His Book and the teachings of His Prophet ﷺ should bid this month a fitting farewell. It is imperative that: 

1- Each of them should sincerely cleanse their heart from deceit, animosity, and envy before the month departs. 

2- They should evaluate how closely they, their families, and households follow the Prophet's sacred law. 

3- They must remember to fulfill the rights set by Allah through the Prophet, whether to parents, relatives, fellow Muslims, all creation, even animals. 

4- As they bid farewell to the month, they should hold a true resolve, seen by Allah, to emulate and follow the Prophet's guidance ﷺ.

5- They should prioritize the way of Allah's Prophet over all else in life. 

6- Their resolve to support the Prophet should be sincere, encompassing their own selves, their wealth, and all their capabilities. 

7- They should have good provisions of sending blessings upon the Beloved ﷺ. 

8- Our sending of blessings upon him should be with reverence, yearning, and love.
