LOVING THE BELOVED ﷺ

The Sweet Breezes of Divine Mercy - Yahya Rhodus

The Qur’an reminds us: “Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (Qur’an, 13:28). True peace and contentment come when the heart is aligned with divine guidance. The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who supplicated, “O Allah, I submit myself to You, entrust my affairs to You, and rely upon You,” illuminate the path of submission, trust, and reliance upon Allah in all aspects of life.

This timeless wisdom calls us to go beyond outward acts of worship, nurturing sincerity, humility, and an inner connection with Allah. Through this, we open our hearts to His mercy and blessings, finding tranquility in remembrance and strength in trust.]

Embracing the Concern of the Beloved ﷺ - Amjad Tarsin

In the profound words of the scholars, the essence of nearness to Allah lies in our concern for the Ummah, a concern that mirrors the deep love and care of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. As Allah describes him: "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; he is concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful." (Surah At-Tawbah: 128)

The Prophet ﷺ's concern for his Ummah is timeless, transcending his physical presence. He ﷺ remains deeply attentive to the Ummah, as we strive to resemble his unmatched compassion and tireless effort to benefit humanity.

This concern compels us to engage with the world around us, introducing the message of Islam with love and sincerity. In a time when many remain unaware of the Quran and the legacy of the Prophet ﷺ, our responsibility grows ever greater.

Remembering the Beloved Prophet ﷺ - Yacine ibn Lotfi

The words of the Prophet ﷺ remind us that every salutation we offer is returned, as narrated in the hadith: "No one sends greetings of peace upon me except that Allah returns my soul to me so I may reply to the greeting." (Sunan Abu Dawood)

This practice is not only a means of seeking peace but also a path to spiritual elevation. As the Prophet ﷺ said, “The closest people to me on the Day of Judgment are those who send the most blessings upon me.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi)

In these gatherings, we are among the few chosen to remember the best of creation, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We honor the sacred legacy that connects us back to him ﷺ, reflecting on the blessings of Islam and the significance of being part of this divine tradition.

Longing for the Beloved ﷺ - Abdullah Mubarak | Seminary Student

"I long for my brothers." When asked, "Are we not your brothers, O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ replied, "You are my companions, but my brothers are those who will come after me, who will believe in me without seeing me." (Musnad Ahmad)

The Quran emphasizes reliance on Allah and His Messenger ﷺ: "Sufficient for us is Allah, and He will give us of His bounty and so will His Messenger." (Surah At-Tawbah: 59)

May we continually seek the love of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, striving to embody their teachings. Let us gather in remembrance, send abundant salawat upon him ﷺ, and remain connected to his legacy through devotion and prayer.

Allah Loves the Repentant  - Amjad Tarsin

“There are eight gates of Paradise. All of them open at certain times and closed at others – except for the gate of repentance. That one is always open.”

Citing verses from the Quran (2:222, 57:16, 66:8) and relating inspiring stories of repentance from the pious predecessors, Amjad Tarsin explains why we must always keep a door open between us and Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, and never despair of Allah’s Mercy no matter what sins we have committed.

Among the stories mentioned is the beautiful story of Fudayl ibn Iyad (d. 187AH / 803AD), a greatly-feared highway robber, who repented to Allah and became a great and revered scholar.
