We are excited to announce our upcoming Weekend Retreat, which will be held on October 13-15 titled The Lawful and The Prohibited, a study of Book 14 of Imam al-Ghazali’s masterpiece Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din (Revival of the Religious Sciences).

In this book, Imam al-Ghazali discusses the merit of the lawful and the condemnation of the unlawful, degrees of lawful and unlawful, doubtful matters, the connection between lawfulness and sin, legal proofs, investigation and inquiring about lawfulness, repenting and disposing of unlawful things, and interactions with rulers.
